Hasler will guide participants of all levels through the materials and techniques of oil painting, including surfaces, mediums, color palette mixing. We will work from still life.
Open to new participants as well previous participants. More advanced/experienced painters will be guided in further developing a more personalized palette. Beginners welcome. Class size is small enough to permit one-on-one instruction at all levels, beginning through advanced welcome unless otherwise indicated.
Participants will have guided instruction from 9 - 1, with the option to stay and work in the studio on painting through the afternoon and evening of each day of the session.
Materials: The workshop is structured around an in-depth exploration of oil color mixing and creating a palette. For this purpose, we will use a primary-color palette in oils, including red, yellow, blue, and white. (See supply list)
